This expression of interest (EOI) is for all of Rio Tinto's Canadian & US assets  and the work will be done in collaboration with the local & Indigenous procurement team, the selected site (s), and the selected supplier (s).

Through our buy local initiative in North America, which aims to increase our spend with local, Indigenous, and Diverse suppliers (LID), we're seeking to collaborate with a third party to develop suppliers in the region through hands-on implementation.

The scope includes:

• Work directly with LID suppliers to build capacity and capability to meet Rio Tinto standards.

• Help suppliers become competitive for opportunities within Rio Tinto and other industries.

• Deliver practical, measurable improvements—not just advisory recommendations.

• Align program delivery with the Local & Indigenous procurement team's objectives.

        • Provide a diagnostic assessment report for each supplier under development.
